Mr. Francaviglia came to Comprehensive Cardiovascular Care (CCC) in 2006. Just prior to joining us, he held the position of Regional Vice President of Cardiac Services for Aurora Health Care (AHC), which is located in Southeastern Wisconsin. Steve brings over 25 years of health care experience to the Group. His career began in 1982 as an ICU nurse. As a registered nurse, he also has experience working in the Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs, as well as in Hyperbaric Medicine. However, the majority of Mr. Francaviglia’s career has been as an administrator. In addition to the many hospital management positions he has held throughout the years, Steve also has extensive business development and marketing experience, having previously worked as the Regional Vice President of Business and Market Development for the South Region of AHC. Mr. Francaviglia’s prior group management experience came in the early 1990’s, where he served as the first administrator for the cardiovascular group, Wisconsin Heart and Vascular Clinic.

Steve has a three year diploma in nursing from the Milwaukee County School of Nursing. He has a Bachelor of Science in Health Arts from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois and a Masters in Business Administration from The Kellar Graduate School of Management. Steve has served on multiple boards including the American Heart Association of Milwaukee, where he was Chair of the Heart Walk in 2004. Mr. Francaviglia is currently a member of the American College of HealthCare Executives.
